Summer Camp 2020
SUMMER CAMP 2020 UPDATE: Great News! We can officially resume our Summer Programs! We will be following COVID-19 CDC and Maryland State guidelines for participants and parents. We will start camp on June 29th!
Please see the registration forms and updated COVID-19 Policies, Procedures, & Waiver for camp below. It is very important to review these policies and help us have successful summer programs by adhering as best as possible to various the guidelines for each activity.
If you have already submitted your registration form for a particular program, we do not need another one, just be sure to take note of the adjusted dates. We will need the COVID-19 Waiver completed for all
participants. This can be emailed to us at parks@talbotcountymd.gov, faxed to 410-822-7107, or dropped off at the community center (Monday-Friday,
8AM-4:30PM).
Camp will surely be a lot different this year and won't be as much summer "camp" as it is summer "care". The summer camp plans are fluid depending on the changes in the Governor's orders throughout the summer. Unfortunately, the current CDC/Maryland COVID-19 guidelines will restrict us from doing our normal activities such as field trips, pool days, and large group activities but we are excited to be able to provide this care as everyone starts returning to work. If some of these restrictions are lifted throughout the summer, we will do our best to work the field trips back in the schedule!
We still plan on keeping the campers active by playing recreational non-contact games/sports in smaller groups, arts and crafts, spending time outside on the soccer or baseball fields, movies on the big screen, special visiting guests and entertainers, and rollerblading!
We appreciate your patience as we work through these difficult times. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns at parks@talbotcountymd.gov.
We have great activities, programs, field trips, sports, swimming, arts and crafts, movies, and more! Sign up weekly or for the whole summer. Field trips include: Trampoline Park, Water Parks, Laser Tag and Bowling! Each week have a different theme and various activities.
Limited spaces are available. Registration and first week's payment must be completed in order to reserve your weeks of camp. Stop by the Talbot County Community Center to pick up a Summer Camp Packet or print one below.
